So I just told my friend about how it took you 19 hours to get from san francisco to monterey, and after I explained the situation, he said "that's what she gets for being lazy" in the nicest way possible. I then replied with "That's what she said."

I mean, you pretty much did say that, and I REALLY wanted to say it in a real conversation.
