I particularly love how he placed himself exactly in the middle of the pile of broken stuff! It took him approximately ten seconds of "terrified" after the tree fell for him to be all, "Cool, what's all this then?"

At least those aren't the sentimental ones. Next Christmas there will be a great Re-Reckoning. Though I might pick up a new tree this year after Christmas, on the cheap.

BTW I found out someone else who has a cat who eats the other cats whiskers off. Apparently it's a form of domination. I had no idea.

Hrm! I didn't think about whether it had any real significance, I just figured Oz's whiskers were sort of a casualty of war. (or play.) They seem to be growing in better now so I wonder if it's just a stage Desmond will grow out of. Like teething.

It really wasn't that bad. It's a small tree, in a small space, and I just put it back up and re-hung the non-broken ornaments. So far, it's still standng. SO FAR!
