Last fall, Desmond had some experience with the sliding-glass door being open on pleasant days, but he was very tiny at the time. In the spring, again, he learned about the wonders of the screen door. Including how he could conveniently leap up onto it and adhere with his little pointy claws. This morning, I fed Desmond his last bit of IAMS kitten food. My little boy is a man!

As a little kick in the butt for 2007, Desmond's just taken the tree down again. Since I don't have time to actually take it down proper right now, I just shoveled the detritus into the closet and vacuumed.

And the first casualty of Christmas is...the tree lights. Desmond had, I thought, unplugged them. But no! The first thing to do is dig up two more of those itty-bitty fuses and see if that does it.
