In an amusing confluence of events, I spent a lot of time talking about Jeopardy! last night with my folks, because my Dad's in the middle of reading Prisoner of Trebekistan: A Decade in Jeopardy!. Good luck on both the surgery and the test! A friend of mine took the online test and then did the follow-up test and mock game, but hasn't actually heard back from them. So, she's gone back to obsessively applying to be on The Amazing Race.

Thank you! Well, your friend will be in the contestant pool for another two months...there's still time! I took the test two years ago before they switched to online, and I passed and did the mock game and stuff, but never got called. Last year I rejected the online test and registered to be called when they did live testing, which never happened. So I guess I'll have to give this online thing a whirl. It's fun, but frustrating, because they get thousands of people a year who pass the test and they only have about 400 slots tops for contestants.

I got the same email, but I took the LAST online test, so I'm NOT ELIGIBLE!! DAMN YOU GEORGE TAK... wait.

So, I guess I'll have to wait another year. Woe is me!

Or maybe they'll have another online test AFTER March? I don't know! DRAT THE LUCK!!!
