I didn't hear about this before, so I can't really say much about it, but you're right. It's hard to trust most of the media. Though you can trust the news and certain newspapers, but msn is not a reliable source. But when it comes to celebs, you can't really trust anything. They're never honest and well, publicity stunts are also a part of life.

Nowadays, everything is twisted, manipulated and sometimes completely created just for the purpose of a news story. This kind of story, while I accept that for some is light entertainment, pulls away from the focus of real news. Sadly these are the kinds of stories that frequently appear on the internet and are twisted to such an extravagant nature that you can hardly believe what you're reading! Personally, like you, I couldn't give a monkies who John Mayer is dating, whether it be the bimbo we all know as Jessica Simpson or any Tom, Dick or Harry. But this story is so representative of the media today, in the celebrity culture that we live in, and I completely believe that it for the purpose of promoting their respective new albums. Why is it that talent has to be thrusted in your face to get the rest of the world to listen? Why do false accusations have to be made, to merely get someone in the limelight to promote his or her album?

lool, well I definitely do like his music. (meaning : okay, you're forgiven, it's better than being a gossip kind of person when it comes to Christina Aguilera, or sth)
