*Gym was excellent. So hard. I love feeling fit. I can tell I'm getting firmer and stronger, because the fat I do have jiggles more noticably. Like, as everything underneath firms up, the fat is more..... definitively fatty. Mmmmm......fat

Although, the midwife is someone I met through her, and midwife thinks the world of R. Sigh. I think the more important one to freeze is the grandma. Hot shit, she is a manipulative, subtly bullying woman. I remember the way she treated R (awful) and now it's yucky to be on the receiving end of her ooze.

And also great that the parents are all on the same page - that's the most important thing.

We were lucky and found a non-profit judo school for Henry. He had a trial class last week, this week is the first week of actual classes....and it's a 3rd of the cost of the for-profit places we looked into! I think Bennett will do great in martial arts.

Yay! I am very set on him doing Aikido and not karate or tae kwan do or mma. I do not want the competition aspect, at least not for him. I think the non-violent aspects of aikido are *perfect* for Bennett, at least until he learns restraint and self-control. He is not a 5 yr old I want learning to punch and kick!

Awesome news about the midwife and dance class for Bennet. Stephen gets a ton out of gymnastics; I almost wish we had him enrolled right now, but we've held off because of the birth being right around the corner. But boy does he need it for balancing out his emotions/mental engagement with some balancing, calming body stuff.

Any chance I could be filtered out of talk about Rebecka? I know you guys had a bad falling out, but I feel really uncomfortable being privy to that kind of talk about someone I'm still friends with.

Well, hopefully I won't talk about her! It's weird how she has popped up without popping up. I am not creating a special filter for her, because really, she doesn't come up that often.

I also want to say that nothing in this post would be news to R. I would easily say this to her as well, were she speaking to me. Her ex-mother-in-law was a piece of work then too. MIL was truly awful to her. I think I have all of one post mentioning R that is questionable, and it was months ago.

Incidentally, i sort of grok that too - Jeannie is out of our lives relationship wise, but will never be completely not a factor, because of our link and our kids link to her kids. I hope what seems to be happening for us happens for you - that as times passes, it becomes less uncomfortable, and something you can feel much more at peace with, even if the other parties like MIL are remaining challenging.
