What a day! It's not even noon!

*Gym was excellent. So hard. I love feeling fit. I can tell I'm getting firmer and stronger, because the fat I do have jiggles more noticably. Like, as everything underneath firms up, the fat is more..... definitively fatty. Mmmmm......fat.

*Spoke with midwife of choice. She can take me! First appointment is next Wed. Yay!

*I kinda of thought that Rebecka's influence would fade from our lives. The one set of friends we met through her are fading away of their own accord. But no. We'll be dealing with Iris for years to come, I think. Already playground drama with B and I. Bennett's being a big of a jerk to her. Iris is being her whiny overly sensitive self. Yes, Bennett is rough, and we work on this every.damn.day. But hot shit, if Iris isn't coddled by her paternal grandparents. Adam took B to school this morning and Iris's grandma was there to give Adam a talking to about how Bennett is 'enlisting other kids' to 'hold Iris down and punch her.' Uh. No. This school has a no-tolerance bullying policy. Is Bennett chasing Iris? Absolutely. (He told me so yesterday.) Does he need to stop? Absolutely (we talked about that yesterday and we'll talk about it again today.). But FFS.

I think Rebecka needs her own tag. Dang. And I haven't even seen or spoken to her since Feb. (January really).

ALso, Bennett needs a physical outlet. He's still expressing interest in martial arts and yesterday really expressed an interest in dance. He wants to do hip hop! Now: to come up with the extra $60-$150 dollars a month for one or both of those activities. I wish I could quit the gym (not really, but I'd do it), because that would fund aikido. Only we'd pay a massive penalty since I only signed up in July for a year long membership. Sigh.

Can you imagine what a bully Bennett could be if we weren't so diligent??

*Lastly, going to see a house today! Two blocks down the street!!

ETA: Adam and K, Iris's dad, spoke by phone. All on the same page. He says his mother overreacts and it's best to just smile and nod. (No comment from me, none) But all of us parents acknowledge that this is how our kids roll together; B can't keep his hands to himself and Iris is too sensitive. So, the important people are united on this.

And, I spoke with Adam. He heard B talk about dance last night too, and has already researched places that do little kid hip hop. There are drop in classes and we could afford one class a week, so we're going to do that! And we decided that we'd ask grandparents for aikido as B's Christmas gift. Bam.
