I'm in an internet cafe in Saigon and there's a man behind me merrily singing traditional Vietnamese music at the top of his little lungs. Earlier this evening when Amy and I were at dinner the waiter came along and tidied the rice. They're all mad.

Well, we are now in a nice clean room with a fan and a fridge which is costing us $14 less than the other one. I enjoy this. Today has been a quiet day. The highlight was when I asked someone how much something ws in Vietnamese and THEY UNDERSTOOD! Did I understand the answer? No. Did I know how to say "Pardon"? I got sunburned yesterday in my quest to not resemble a milkbottle when I go to Viet Nam. "Hilariously" (or so my mum and sisters seem to think) there was, unbeknownst to me, some kind of fake tan in our aftersun lotion.
