Saw on Facebook that Rick Dempsey is among the Orioles' managerial candidates. My two primary memories of him from my childhood are (a) his rain delay theater and (b) his 1983 World Series MVP award, in that order :-)

Every Google hit for rain delay antics seem to mention his name -- the man was a pioneer :-)

The Dinky is a rail spur that connects Princeton University (and the town itself) with the Princeton Junction station on the main Amtrak/NJ Transit line that runs nearby.
