I worked for Loews Theaters in the Baltimore area from roughly 1989-1992, and while it was cheap minimum-ish wage labor, everyone seems to remember it fondly (there's a Facebook group, natch).

Was your next thought was "J is for Jacks"?

Idunno if this is a child-of-the-80s thing or if they still use this jingle (UPDATE: Wikipedia says 1980-1992), but someone mentioned Apple Jacks on Facebook, and that immediately triggered the song in my mind, plus childhood memories of waking up before my parents on Saturday to watch cartoons on TV, ( Read more... )
