I'm probably not telling anyone who cares and didn't already know (I'm catching up on almost a week's worth of LJ), but Douglas Adams' wife has asked Eoin Colfer, "the Irish author of a number of books (including the popular children's book series 'Artemis Fowl')" to write a sixth Hitchhiker's book.

I didn't know either. I've never read anything by Eoin Colfer, but this can't be good.

I have recently been reading The Salmon of Doubt for the first time, enjoying it, and mulling my own post about Douglas.
