Been meaning to post this to LJ for a while, and it just came up in conversation elsewhere, so I remembered: if you liked Avalon,[1] and think you would want to watch a 6-hour version of it set in Italy with English subtitles[2], then definitely watch The Best of Youth (the Wikipedia page has a synopsis with spoilers of course, so don't read too
