So my foot has been hurting for a few months....YESSSSSS THE SAME ONE I INJURED WITH MY ESCAPADES IN DRUNKEN FRISBEE!!!!!!!!! At first it was just an annoying throb, then some discomfort at night, then the discomfort started spilling into my days, and now the pain is increasing and shooting up my leg all the way to my knee. I'm definitely not trying to sway you in any way just food for thought (sorry no pun intended), it takes quite a bit of energy to digest food. If she's stopped eating and drinking on her own it sounds like she has already made her decision. Unfortunately I do not know much about the improvement/recovery potential for ferrets with lymphoma. Is she expected to get worse or better? Are you keeping her alive for your benefit or hers?

Ha, she didn't throw it, but she gave it to saraboi who in turn threw it to me, sealing my fate forever as one of the gimpy

And, my ferret is on a medication called, Predinsone which is suppose to shrink things, and the vet said it has been known to work miracles and prolong life for a few months and ease pain. I think at first I fed her because I didn't want to see her starve to death, but now when I go to the kitchen she can smell me making it and she gets all excited, then when she's done eating she cuddles into me like she's happy i'm doing it. I offer her the dropper with food and she takes it, I think when she stops doing that, I'll have to seriously weigh her fate and how to help her have easiest way to pass on, if there is such a thing. Jesus....I hate animals.......*kick kick kick* I figured Vinnie would be the first to go, but he's five and still kickin' it like a kit. Little crotch sniffing hooligan

I think Vinny and Zeus should be best buds. Zeus will be 20 this year and you'd never guess he was a year over 12. That's good she is feeling better and eating. Prednisone is a steroid / immuno supressant that is probably helping her body not react so strongly to the lymphoma. I cannot take Prednisone - it makes me crazy (yes literally crazy I belong to the 3% of the population that react to Prednisone with the fun side effect of steroid induced psychosis - not so fun)

Sick animals suck. Especially cute and nice sick ones.

Yeah, I love her, but, at least she had a good life with me. I guess I'm glad for some things...but I still do not want any more animals...ever..
