The door opens into a hallway, stone, concrete and metal, that bears a passing resemblance to a Vault's passages; that kind of design is practical, and Jordan uses a variant of it

"Wow," Ellen says, looking around. "This is almost like the entrance to the sample vault in the Museum of Technology."

Jordan tilts head. "I cribbed and adapted some military blueprints." The main difference is that her entrance to Milliways is a normal door, not a reinforced blast door. "This way." She starts downstairs, releasing her on helmet.

"I've been trying to copy those stimpack things you showed me the first time."

"Have you had any luck?" Ellen says curiously as she moves to follow. "I know someone in the Bar is from my world and has a little knowledge about healing plants. I"m not sure if they're the stuff stimpak tech was derived from, but you never know if that might help..."

"No, I did not. I will have to invent the stuff, not copy." Jordan shakes head, then smiles. "You mean Sativa?"

Down two flights, and a very vaultlike door; on the other side the visual changes to clear walls of white, not metal, and Jordan's lockers are a different model too. "Decontamination showers are here." She opens a sliding glass door. "Your dog likes water?"
