The door opens into a bare concrete hallway with a high ceiling. Mostly dimly lit, it stretches a dozen yards into a larger room, past two light metal doors with glass windows. There is a faint chemical scent in the air, and the low buzz of machines.

After released by Zhaan, she left a note with the Bar in case people ask about her, and went straight up to her room. The original anesthesia wore out already, and the painkillers are not working that great.

Her mood might be a bit sub-par right now.

The vivarium experiment seems to be a failure; by now, the small biosphere should have started it's own self-contained weather patterns.

After all the work and all the waiting, it is just anti-climatic.

Jordan had time to decorate: besides the normal furniture, she added shelving, a computer, a work table and such... for now, only mechanical and electronic stuff.
