This has been one of the better day before Valentine's Day in a while! My car works again (now that the corroded battery-thingy is cleaned up), my 2nd graders were good when the vice principal came in to observe today, AND I got to go out for coffee with Jonathan! Yay.

So, around 2:00 this afternoon, I opened up my mail to find my new Triple A card. Tonight, I got into my car, all ready to go out, only to find that my car wouldn't start. The battery's dead. Damn you, stupid irony.

Happy New Year! I just returned from a nice, long stint in N.J.
