Eh on the Silverchair. The background strings and drums are interesting (nice "exotic" touch) but I don't care for his voice.
Frou Frou's singer is also so so. I like it when her vocals are synthesized/mixed/whatever it is you call it, or when she's singing nonsenscal syllables, but her singing voice on its own it falls flat. She does this little wail when she tries to climb some notes that drives me nuts. On the plus side, the song does have the return of slightly-dirty digital background noise.
Pizzacato Five's I: Go chello plucking! It sounds very much like a track you'd find in Katamari Damacy. I like that.
Bran Van 3000's Loop me is pleasant. Not my favorite, but good for some easy background listening. It's not quite chill music, but it reminds me of it.
I've got to get more Bran Van 3000. What was the impossibe-to-find albulm again?
Fantastic Plastic Machine - If you take out the comments on chill music, I feel the same as I do about the BV3000 song for this one.
