X-Men anime
Just finished watching episode one of the new X-Men anime. Overall, I really liked it. It opens with the end of the Phoenix Saga, so its too early for Gambit to be involved (sad panda). One of my only complaints (for now) is that I feel the voice actor for Prof. X sounds too old. I was thinking someone like Sho Hayami (Aizen from Bleach) ( Read more... ) -

A few days late....
Week two of cooking school was, again, awesome. We made butternut squash puree soup, chicken soup, roasted pork loin with a mushroom/red wine pan sauce, and mac and cheese made with Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, and Parmesan. Geez, happy belated New Year. I've been a bit remiss about posting. Anyway, today was the first class of the six week cooking course my hubbie gave me for Christmas. Gobble Gobble bitches. lol I'm in the midst of cooking a feast for a small group this year. While making my delicious home-made pumpkin pie, I managed to burn the side of my left index finger taking it out of the oven. It looks fairly gross, but yeah for mom's Silvadene cream! I'll survive.
