Haha, sorry I missed this post yesterday. You were saying?

P.S. I bought another Sims expansion pack the other day and was able to make some adjustments to most of the trolls. Gamzee in particular has been significantly improved.

Ahaha, I ended up subjecting you to the beginning of my ramblings in your journal today anyway. ^_^ But we can move them over here if need be! And I can be all "No, but really, I think there's something significant to the fact that there are only four repeat references to beverages in the entire comic, and Rose and Kanaya get the "mature" ones (alcohol and blood) and Dave and Gamzee get the "kiddy" ones (apple juice and Faygo). I can pretend there's something to that, right?" ^_^

That is a much more Gamzee Gamzee. He looks much more comfortable with proper hair. (-;

First, about Aradia's ancestor. I actually think it's brilliant, because it puts into perspective how arbitrary the term "ancestor" really is. Since the trolls don't have a reciprocal relationship with their Ancestors like the kids do with their guardians, and the Ancestors don't enter the Medium, they appear to have two specific roles in their universe: to influence the course of Alternian history, and, as recent updates seem to be indicating, to kind of function as "backup" S***b players. Actually, that just gave me an idea: efficient as S***b is, what if that's the case in every session? The backups are tasked with creating the world that the eventual players inhabit? So okay, if my ancestor lore theory is correct, then of course the trolls' "backup" set got a collective name that suggests the distant past, because Vriska would find it more romantic to imagine her closest genetic relative as a mysterious figure of legend than just as someone who happened to be born before she was. But in reality, they could live any time in the ( ... )

I will get to the rest of this tomorrow, but: You have no idea how strongly I am currently considering stealing your thoughts on the Handmaid and writing that fic myself. That would be so much fun. Though yeah, delving into Alternain history right now would just be asking to get Jossed.
