gotta love the mob mentality

Not knowing anything at all, really, of PantheaCon...I decided to ask. Got one beneficial answer and then this idiot: Clicky!

I don't know jack about hunting someone down by their IP address and usually don't even bother to try, but my curiosity got the better of me so I popped onto Google to see what I could see.

some communities & journals are setup to log them. you can set your journal to do the same in comments, like at the link if you look above each comment there are numbers in parenthesis after from.

Go here: Clicky!

That's not a nice section of town.

That is however where I think a large internet hub company is located.

All of that aside, I'm not sure that it is the convention for you. I'm going for the first time this year. It isn't sci-fi/fantasy at all, it is a religious convention. I imagine that some of the bad feeling came from you not having read about the con at the website, but just asked for someone to spoon feed it to you. I don't know who the heck in Georgia would have anything to say on the matter, but as much as it may be all misunderstanding, you've got kind of a bad reputation at BayCon ( ... )

1) the main community link to the website wasn't working so I informed the moderator about it, and showed them the updated link; I've read the website; was kinda hoping for a more personal touch.

2) wasn't thinking convention to regularly frequent but might be cool to check out. Like FurCon, which I usually only ever go for 1 day of.

3) yeah, I knew that much, religious angle. that's actually one of the reasons it sparked my interest.

Yeah, kinda gotten used to the false advertising but it still irks me at times.
