Technically speaking, you're SUPPOSED to pose for pictures at a sideways angle, as it's the most slimming and flattering. And by "SUPPOSED to" I mean the convention as set by the modeling/photography industry.
Turning sideways to have your photograph taken and becoming anorexic are two entirely different things.
SINCE the camera actually can skew light and make one look heavier and less flattering, posing so that one compensates for this to look their best is not a bad thing.
It's been a long long long long long time since I've attended a convention. I've been told to try getting in a costume and attending a con. *shrug*
It's weird that I think I've seen some of these people from somewhere. Maybe I've seen one too many people's myspace friends lists. :-P
Picture 1,4: HUBBA!!! HUBBA!!! HUBBA!!! Picture 8 : heh. that's cute. Picture 19: Ryoga Vee. I've seen him so many times at Death Guild and Bondage A Go-Go. The last I saw him was at Death Guild last night with that outfit. Picture 32: She's supposed to be Death from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" series. But then again, that's a typical goth girl look.
