Starting October 27th, I will have my very own apartment! Well, that's the day I sign the lease, anyway. I'll probably end up paying Jonathan 1/2 a month's rent for November or something because I'm fairly unprepared to physically move all my things. Whoever heard of manager's renting apartments that aren't even ready to go? When I got my place

Do you need a bookshelf? Between Jeff and me, I'm fairly certain we have one to spare.
I also have that big squishy brown chair that I love but we have no room for.

Having said why I haven't called/written... Yay! you! And the cool thing is we're more neighborly than before. Do they heat YOUR pool? They stopped heating mine and it makes me more than crazy because my pool is awesome but virtually unusable unless it's 100 degrees in the valley for a week or something.
You'll be fine in your own place. It's sooooooooooooooooo wonderful to have the freedom. And as for the lonelies, people will visit (I'm closer now for one!) and the thing I kind of love is being able to have people over whenever I want as often as I want without having to "clear" it with roomies or something. It is from this that "video nights" at my place were launched.
Let me know what kind of stuff you might need and if I can help with anything, 'k?
I'm so happy for you!

I'll let you know what I need in case you have a "spare" anything :) Glad you're back from catatonia.
I do not think the pool is heated but it wasn't that cold, as it's in direct sun all day. Heated or not, I know Jeff is going to love it. He'll be out there in midwinter when it's 40 degrees, just for a dip!

Heck, *I* may come over and swim in your pool. Mine is in the shade most of the day - which is why it never heats up enough to use unless it's scorching hot outside. It's only been this way for a couple of years. The guy who used to own the building also lived here so it was heated all year long. Now it's a corporation and they don't care about anything but their bottom line...
I know I'm going to have to get rid of the table in my dining room. It's a butcher block kind of table. Really sturdy. It has a little burn on the corner from a fire that started in my apartment a few years ago (interesting story). I just put a table cloth on it and all is well. It's a good table. I may have some other things too...
