Found out that the other assistant manager (of which there are practically two) is getting another job last night. My boss asked me if I would be willing to pick up the hours.

So instead of hiring another assistant or promoting any of our staff, he wants me to work 80 hours a week without any sort of overtime.

Hourly, but Cinemark has it somehow that we don't get overtime. There's some specialty clause they get to work around it. I've tried before.

Is it bad that I'm kind of jealous? When I got my twenty-five cent raise at TJ Maxx, they cut me down to ten hours a week (or less) because they didn't have enough money allocated for payroll to pay me $7.55 an hour.

...but yeah. That's the worst.
