... when you're unemployed, they don't mean quite so much, 'cept you get to hang out with your working friends.

That reminds me about when I was a kid. I never wanted to take a bath. Until I was in there. Then mom couldn't get me out for hours.

I was a bookworm from early on. The bath was somewhere I could sit and read - what was not to like? I'd stay there reading until I got pruny or they made me get out and get ready for bed.

Elana often protests eating. It's like she thinks I am going to poison her or something. I have to distract her and then sneak the spoon into her mouth. It's gotten to the point where as a last result I will feed her in front of the TV.

Recently I discovered that if I sing her favorite songs she gets distracted too.
