Books that stick with you meme. H/T idairsauthor and mamajoan. Like idairsauthor, I found much of the "stick" factor came from reading at a young age, though I have the luxury of rereading books I love, as opposed to books I need to teach.

I'm with you on P&P. It's the first book I grab for rereading. Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones is my number two re-read. It's cute and fun.

I like the McKinley stuff, too, but it's not a go-to as much. There are a lot of scenes in there that I reflect on from time to time.

I'll have to try Howl someday. I saw the movie but I could tell they were simplifying things.
