Hugs for Vinnie. Definitely phone the vet's office and find out what the craic is. I would be super pissed if Amber's collar and lead went missing at the vet's and they're just shop-bought.
The last time there was an elcipse in Ireland my mother had booked me in for a dental appointment. I was so angry :P
Vinnie's doing okay. He's happy, most of the time. As happy as he gets. He has Issues.
My sister was supposed to pick up the collar and leash from the vet's office this week. Hopefully she remembered. I spoke to the vet and the nurse said she had them at the front desk (this was on Thursday, I think).
I was very excited to see the eclipse. As much as I could see of it. My pictures didn't turn out well, alas.
That's interesting about the eclipse, but the vet I'd not return to if they did indeed take the collar and leash- I'd not return to them but get a different vet; due to the stealing problem, proviso of course that they *did* indeed take your collar and leash anyways... that's the perfect revenge on any businessman: deny them your future business if they wrong you! And, no court that could exist anywhere or does exist anywhere could stop you too, nor government either! Not with the market as it is anyways
( ... )
My sister picked up the leash and collar the other day and I should have them back by tomorrow!
I wouldn't trade this vet for a lost leash/collar...I'd be disappointed, but I wouldn't trade them. They're the best clinic in quite a few counties. People come from two states away to have their animals cared for from these vets. They took excellent care of my Pewter when she had eye troubles - six weeks they saw her at least once a week, sometimes twice a week - and charged me an absolute pittance for all that care and meds and work.
I loved the eclipse; I wish I'd had a better spot for it. Well, if I'm still in the area seven years from now, I'll go up north about an hour and see it.
