...and I've missed so much that I feel like I just stepped into fandom for the first time. That sort of wide-eyed, confused stiffness, what is this place? Of course it's not that dramatic, it just feels like it

I missed you all, too! My life had a chunk missing out of it, and it wasn't so much fandom as it was all of you. And I also thought about everyone every time I saw Nutella at the supermarket, and I'm not sure why. XD
for burn out - I watch the movies or listen to/read the books, and usually find, within moments, a plothole or missing moment so glaring that I have to write about it. As snidely as possible :-)
...................okay, bad fandom person right now, but I will admit to you (obv in sekkrit here) that I do not own any of the books, and only own one movie that my friend bought me years ago, lol (did I just get kicked out of fandom?). OH, but I do have Netflix! I will try out this movie business.
*waves happily* Everyone seems to be moving! Are you sure your help_japan story is not hiding somewhere, maybe under a Japanese name? ;) Parade is epic, of course, but we have faith in ye... method of madness (not that I'm a LOVELY writer, but I'll answer just the same...), what about reading Twilight or one of those flowery, badly-written romances that hide under Victorian mores and error-laden depiction of the aristocracy? LOL. That should fire you up. Works on me every time. "I can't believe they published this crap--I can do better, dammit."
lol, the Japanese I know is limited to "doki", "baka", and...I'm probably slaughtering the spelling, but "ohayo" and "itadakimasu"... I'm pretty sure I really butchered that last one. XD BUT YES, certainly not under a Japanese name. It's probably in there somewhere, but with the amount of docs on my computer, it would take me all day for days to find it. And I could probably write half of a second version in that amount of time.
Ahahah, OKAY, when I first read your comment, I paused after Twilight, and thought, she's not REALLY serious, is she? But then I read the rest, and it made me have faith in you again. XD THIS IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA!
I MISSED YOU GUYS, TOO! E has been completely champ status over there, and I've been embracing my guilt for the abandonment. But hopefully I can take back over my duties well enough soon to make up for it.
It went pretty well! Though it's really hot here, and I'm fairly sure the Southerners hate me, haha.

It's too faaaar at the moment, which is why I immediately ruled it out. I have yet to even get my library card in this new city. Sad facts of life.
