I watched "Would I Lie to You" on the iPlayer. And then I wrote to the BBC. I don't expect this to turn out any differently than before, but I suppose you've got to keep trying. I can't bring myself to write a letter that's respectful of their position, though, since they don't appear to respect trans people one bit.

I've been thinking lately about getting my hair cut really short, like back to before I transitioned, since when I've had nipple-length hair. I think I hide behind my hair too much, to the extent that when I'm feeling confident I put it up, which sort of defeats the point in having long, high-maintenance hair if I don't actually take joy in it.
