I have to say, Rilo Kiley's new album Under the Blacklight is disappointing. Up to and including 'Dreamworld' it's fantastic and I was honestly thinking "dunno what everyone is complaining about", and then it suddenly descends into shit. 'Dejalo' and 'Give A Little Love' are awful, and I never thought I'd ever say anything by Rilo Kiley was awful. ( Read more... )

I think what irked me the most about Meltzer's run was that the only thing the JLA actually DID was fight Amazo and some robots, track down the old Legion of Super-Heroes Pokemon-style (GOTTA FIND 'EM ALL!) and talk. A lot. That the whole terrible Lightning Saga intruded into the far, far superior pages of JSA was even worse. And I never want to see Geo-Force again.

I understand your feelings about The Flash. The book's been jerked around far too much recently, which saddens me because I love Wally and Waid and Johns' prior runs. I want to see the character and title done justice.
