I don't really remember high school too well. Prom, graduation, crushes, classes. It all blurs together, barely a blip in my conscience anymore. But there is one thing I remember. Driving on north on Jog at night, listening to Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American/self-titled album and looking up at the stars while waiting at red lights.

jimmy eat world's album bleed american was released in july 2001, i know because i bought it then, and soon after it became self-titled.

Ergo my referring to the album by both names -- Bleed American and self-titled. It's like when people refer to Zoso as Led Zeppelin IV. Both names are acceptable
