Ah, I love my family! Let's talk about them a bit, shall we?
Last night, my mom called Mohandas Gandhi "an idiot" because - get this - because he was a pacifist. Someone has obviously never heard of Jesus Christ!
How do you even live in the same house with your father. You have a lot patience. As Christian, science and faith go hand in hand for me. I think God wants us to do research and experiments to explain why things happen. I don't understand why Christians are so opposed to scientific explanations, and vice-versa, because it is my belief that God makes those things happens. But no one listens to me. :( My mom called me a liberal when I tried to tell her that. Its always about political parties for her. :(
I can handle them; whatever. It's frustrating but, really, I feel like I'm the better person in these exchanges, and, well ... I'm going to be dealing with those attitudes for the rest of my life. May as well buck up and get used to it before I'm out of the starting gate, right?
As Christian, science and faith go hand in hand for me. That's because you aren't a gibbering, hypocritical idiot with a 16th century attitude. Congratulations, Shelly. I now know that I have absolutely no reason to doubt that you've earned your right to live in our modern mechanized world!
I don't really understand why so many religious people feel so threatened by science. Am I wrong when I say that God is something that you can stick in anywhere? A scientist could give an hour long explanation of how this thing works, and then a theist could say, "Yes, that's how God set it up!"

Take it as a compliment of the highest order.
