lol. Yes, it's Skins (as my tag says). Honestly, the third and fourth seasons (involving these two characters) are pretty missable, but Cook/Effy is one of the better things about gen. 2.

it's that they're also keenly conscious of how "apart" they are as individuals from the people around them -- and almost even revel in it.

Which is why they're both so in love with Freddie, because he's someone they can almost get close to. XD
