Bwah!

I so much disliked Warren that part of it transferred to Adam Busch (does it happened to you too, to dislike a character and then the actor for it?). So Never Leave me was a revelation !!

Also WHEELCHAIR FIGHTING FTW.

My complain about S7? Not enough Buffy/Spike *ducks

Hee, I kind of loved Adam Busch actually - Warren was a great villain. So I was pretty stoked when he popped up again in NLM.

WHEELCHAIR FIGHTING. YES.

Aww, I'm pretty satisfied with the amount of S/B in S7. I think they got a fair go. I realize that is also an unpopular belief though...

I think I would like some talk between them on how having a soul affected Spike

They sort of did, in "Never Leave Me"...

I agree with practically everything you say. In the eyes of the veteran fans, season 7 suffered from the same Vegemite effect season 8 suffers now.

Ah, that is a good point. Cheers!

I have had this icon for a loooooong time! *hugs it*

I shall refrain from linking to any meta (since I presume you have already read it all), but just wanted to add my own 'Hear! Hear!' to this post. The thing is that Seasons 6 and 7 go together, they're part of a whole, and I love that. It's all connected.

Plus, I watched in a vacuum too, which is probably the best way to do it. (I watched on the BBC, which never started showing a new season until the new year, so there was always a week between episodes, never more. I wonder if I'd felt differently if I'd had long gaps, but I doubt it.)

Anyway, sing it! S7 is wonderful. The problem, I think, is that by then everyone had a list of things they wanted, and the fewer boxes that the show ticked, the more upset people got. (Of course it has weak points, but no more so than any other season.) Also, Buffy getting up after being stabbed is one of the best moments ever!

I WAS WAITING FOR THAT ICON!

Hee, I do remember seeing you say that, PROBABLY IN SOME META! I am in agreement. (Duh.)

Vacuum-watching is definitely the way to go. I am ENORMOUSLY glad I wasn't caught up with the batshit insane fandom stuff back then.

Buffy getting up after being stabbed is one of the best moments ever!

WORD.

I don't like it. I just don't.

I would elaborate some more, but I'm sure you've heard it all. And I'm afraid that you're starting to hate my disagreeing-ass-which-disagrees. :-)

Well, you are perfectly entitled to disagree! I know the majority hate this season, which... is why I chose it.
