You're totally right about the Regency fashion being more practical than Victorian. Even now we still see clothes inspired by the Regency looks.

Emma 2009 is your least favourite adaptation? *Gasp*, it's one of my favourites!

Yes, I know a lot of Janeites adore that version, which is why I tend to seethe quietly to myself so as not to disturb others. :)
