Parsnip, parsley...PARLEZ!

PotC was pure and undiluted delight [read: a two hour and twenty-four minute long orgasm]. Orli was ridiculously overshadowed by Johnny Depp, my original sex god, but WHO CARES? It's all beautiful pirates, all the time! I must sound blasphemous for not raving over Orli, but the poor boy was given a much more boring character, and his talents/ ( Read more... )

I want to second EVERYTHING you just said. The movie completely outweighed my expectations. And William/Elizabeth (which by the way, hey! Spuffy!) over Jack/Elizabeth? Pfft. Give me Captain Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth fic, now! Savvy? *snerk*

Also had issues with meltyman and the weird guy from The Office. All I could think was, "Where are the circles under his eyes?"

Also had issues with meltyman

You have no idea. From the moment I saw him, I squeed: "STEVE!" and I kept giggling insanely. My friends thought I was nuts.

And the moment I find Jack/Elizabeth, I'll let you know.

BTW, "Savvy?" comes from "Sabes?" in spanish. Means "do you know"? Just thought I'd give you some trivia. ;)

Hehe, yep I know! I'm all with the knowledge, it still cracked me up every time he said it though!

I am not on AIM because I am at working and fighting with the DVD player, which is conspiring to NOT let me see QaF episode 1.9

Aww. Well, my local vid/dvd rental store is conspiring against me to NEVER have QaF in stock.

I still love your icon.

I love The Office!

Which kid? The scrawny one who plays Gareth?

Yup. It's Gareth, all right.

He's a riot in PotC.

It's scary how much my mind is STILL comparing everything to BtVS.

::shiver:: Ditto that, it really is. Must...stop...comparing... There should really be a group or something. Or a nifty five-step plan.

I'm still way too bouncy about POTC. The funny thing is my friend and I went into the movie babbling about Orli and came out raving about Johnny. So...yes to everything you said. I think Orli's character should have been written as less earnest. Because earnest is Legolas' middle name.

Look at me, surrounded by the slash of a lifetime, and all I want is drunken het sex? I must be the most boring person in the world.

No, no, no. Their love was so exciting. ;)

ETA: Ooh. I AM good. Beth Maclay, Tara's sister in the ep "Family" [which I re-watched earlier today, and cried when Buffy said, "You'll have to go through me,"] is played by Amy Adams, who was the chick with braces that Frank Abagnale Jr. almost marries in "Catch Me If You Can". Only used imdb.com to confirm the fact. I am an actor-identifying goddess.

Wow. You are a god among insects. I hope you noticed the split-second Fred appearance?

But of course. Most people [including my own friends, Miche and Kat] did the same. But I, as you said, am a god among insects and I was already aware that Johnny Depp would keep his title as NUMBER ONE ACTOR AND SEX GOD.

I hope you noticed the split-second Fred appearance?

Don't worry. I caught that the FIRST time I saw CMIYC. In theatres. Did you notice that the character's last name was Acker? The writer was too lazy to think up a last name, so they used Amy's own.
