I want to second EVERYTHING you just said. The movie completely outweighed my expectations. And William/Elizabeth (which by the way, hey! Spuffy!) over Jack/Elizabeth? Pfft. Give me Captain Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth fic, now! Savvy? *snerk*

Also had issues with meltyman and the weird guy from The Office. All I could think was, "Where are the circles under his eyes?"

I'm still way too bouncy about POTC. The funny thing is my friend and I went into the movie babbling about Orli and came out raving about Johnny. So...yes to everything you said. I think Orli's character should have been written as less earnest. Because earnest is Legolas' middle name.

Don't worry. I caught that the FIRST time I saw CMIYC. In theatres. Did you notice that the character's last name was Acker? The writer was too lazy to think up a last name, so they used Amy's own.
