You know, the reason I never watched the second season of LoM is because the season 1 finale didn't work for me AT ALL. But I just ordered the second season, so we'll see if I change my opinion.
Hah! Yes. Somehow it was easier to upload a plethora of music than do a bunch of capping and Photoshopping. *g* And if you snagged the Animal Collective, I REALLY recommend listening to The Purple Bottle FIRST. They're definitely a band you should ease into.
You know what's funny? I almost completely forget the plot of the s1 finale. That's a bad sign. But yeah, definitely watch s2, you'll love it. And the s2 finale, well. I'm not going to say anything. :)
I am just all over the shop here...ipomoeaApril 4 2008, 16:05:57 UTC
Ooh! Twinings English Breakfast is great, I'm actually drinking that right now. It'd be in my top five somewhere for sure, maybe tied at #3 with their Irish Breakfast, after Twinings 1706 (2) and Yorkshire Gold (1!). I tend to like a really strong tea, and the 1706 and Yorkshire are both a bit robuster than the English Breakfast.
Bluuuuuuuuuuuuur! That is my #1 Blur song too. It's one of those songs that somehow manages to break your heart AND put it back together all at the same time. Genius. I also would love to be able to figure out how to get that actual version of Me White Noise, I suspect it might require a line input rip. I've been unable to listen to it for ages because I no longer have a cd player that is capable of the rewind trick it takes to play the song.
Beirut! A few weeks ago at SXSW I saw an act called Florence and the Machine cover that song, and she did it beautifully. I was very impressed.
I also lovelovelove Life On Mars.
And have you ever seen Rory O'Shea Was Here? McAvoy will break your heart

Ooh, I also love their Irish Breakfast, however I haven't drank the second two! I went to the Twinings store on Fleet Street a bunch when I was in London, but I mostly just scavenged for the weirder (fruitier, more herbal) ones I'd never seen in the states. I'll have to check those out.
And it's funny, that Blur list would probably be different every time I did it, but no matter what This Is A Low would never leave. As for MWN, I've not listened to it for ages mostly because my CD collection is back in California, argh. Someday someone will find out how to rip it properly.
Ooh, I bet a cover of that would be lovely.
YES! Life On Mars! Have you been watching Ashes To Ashes?
Finally -- YES. I have indeed seen Rory O'Shea. I mean, come on -- Romola Garai AND the McAvoy in the same movie! I loved it to pieces. I should really own that movie.
I kept scrolling down your Scotsmen list, and Ewan kept not being on it, and I was going to be very disappointed if Ewan wasn't included. :p
I love everything you say about music. I love your music posts. I just like reading what you have to say about how music makes you feel. I don't know anyone in my "real" life who takes music as seriously as I do.
HAHAH YES. Ewan just CAN'T ever leave the number one spot, no matter what he does. *g* Though I am slightly miffed now, I realised I was working only with actors! What about all the great Scotsmen in BANDS! Oh, I think way too hard about these things.
And hey, thanks. Nice to hear that there's someone who likes to read it. Sometimes I think I sound crazy. ;)

Did you see PS I Love You? Not even massive amounts of Butler love could get me to see it. ...Maybe I'll Netflix it.
