1. Saw Andrew Bird at the Bowery Ballroom on Wednesday and all through the concert I kept thinking that his hair looked like the love child of Mac's and Bob Dylan's. I would post a setlist but it would really only amount to this: 'A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left', 'I', 'Skin Is, My', 'Glass Figurine', 'Tables and Chairs' and a billion ( Read more... )

The most adorable thing, though, was the fact that he really DOES have a nervous tic motion of the head to the left when performing, most noticeably during that song.

Seriously? That's so great. I'm pretty jealous of you right now, I must say. Also, I like that album title. Nothing will top AB And The Mysterious Production of Eggs, though. Best title ever!

I was supposed to see him in his "first-ever all-instrumental solo violin recital", and didn't, so I am jealous of people who did. Thus is the circle of jealousy. [It moves us all?]

But yeah, while I like the new title, nothing will ever beat the Mysterious Production of Eggs. :)

Over the past few days since this post, I've watched through 1x08 of Rome.
That sentence could sooo have been written by me. And I meant to watch more last night, but my stupid DVD player has issues with the discs, so I'm having to watch on my computer (not that I mind all that much, 'cause it comes with the 32 inch widescreen).

At this point it's not a question of if I'm going to cap the show, but when. So pretty!

Haaaa. I'm watching on my computer too, and it's a laptop. So I can't wait to get ahold of the DVDs and watch on a biiiig screen. But I'm looking forward to your caps even more, so I can icon to my heart's delight. Like you said -- so pretty!
