In the past month or so while I had come to accept that I had missed out on seeing Capote in theatres, I was very disappointed. Luckily, I was wrong. This afternoon Suitemate J discovered it was still playing up in Times Square, and we were off.

I just saw Capote on Thursday night in a totally retro old theatre and I was blown away by PSH's performance. Now I need to read In Cold Blood and reread To Kill a Mockingbird.

So so good... just when you think TC was all taken in by Perry he reveals how manipulative he really could be... amazing.

I too fucking LOVED The Constant Gardener. It definitely hasn't had enough recognition; it's a beautiful film.

As always, we are so brain twins. Phillip Seymour Hoffman just rocks so hard. He absolutely deserves that Oscar...not that I'll be disappointed if Heath gets it instead.

Oh! And The Constant Gardener is also awesome and amazing, but I feel Ralph's performance was equally as great as Rachel's and he should have been nominated for a Golden Globe too.

Okay, I'm done now. :-)

We still haven't got Capote here, though I am dying to see it, but you are right about something: the beauty of this year's Oscars is that they actually have many good movies. Who would've thought?

Let's wait until Tuesday when they'll snub everything that should be nominated, yay.
