Reading Entertainment Weekly tends to get my hopes up:

Under the title Superhero Dalton Ross explains how Smallville can get its momentum back, I give you:

1. Have Clark and Lex go at it.

Aww, poor Eve. *pets you*

And wow, this just shows how much fandom has changed me. A couple years ago, I would have read "go at it" the way it was intended. Now? They were having sex right on the page, er screen. Which is how it should have been.

Please stop making your articles so slashy. Because it breaks my heart when it turns out you are talking about something else.

::rotfl::

I like the slashy version of "go at it" rather than the plain fisticuffs one. Mmmm... pretty boys going at it... ::shakes self:: Sorry, where was I? Oh, yes. And then after a season of kisses and cuddles and other more explicit stuff that can't be shown on the WB (damn standards and practice board), then Lex and Clark can have a big, angsty break-up, leading to the fisticuffs "go at it."

Sounds like a plan to me. ;D

I reacted the same way you did, only worse. I began reading it, thinking "Eve's got to be wrong. They're going to mean gay love. They have to...aww, damn it. She was right."

Since we're all sharing similar experiences, I had a fright a few weeks ago. My mom came home from the store and told me "I bought you some lubr--" and for one tiny moment I was shocked and awed that she bought me lube and what the hell? It turned out I had whined about there being no lotion in the house and she had picked up some Lubriderm. *sigh*

Also--this is me prodding you to post your Remnant thoughts. *cracks whip* Do it!
