Yes, Johnny Depp is Sexiest Man Alive.

Oh God, Bambi. That and The Lion King made me bawl helplessly, although half of the other movies on this list didn't.

Bwah! I love your modeling story. You were so lucky -- I've yet to find a decent copy of Just Like Blood that's less than the insane $23.99.

Hee, yes. I bought the issue in the Seattle-Tacoma airport, as it was sold out at all the stores in the Oakland airport. Pretty darn popular, that man.

And I haven't seen half of the movies on the list, but I was overjoyed to see they put Moulin Rouge!, Dead Poets Society, Glory, Life Is Beautiful, The Iron Giant and Sophie's Choice.

...I did cry at Titanic when I saw it first, but I just laugh hysterically now.

Keep looking for the TOM! Check cdwow.com or find little indie music stores. You'll find him eventually.

congrats on being approached by a modeling scout. i was approached by one when i was in undergrad and i automatically knew he was a fraud. i have a friend whose sister was a scout for the ford agency. i am 5'2 on a good day. the professional modeling industry doesn't consider any girl under 5'8 or 5'9 for print. for runway, the girl needs to be at least 5'11 nowadays. since most agencies are looking for versatile girls that can meet the physical requirements for both print and runway, i knew that my 5'2 self was not anywhere acceptable or near the 5'10-6'1 height range they look for. there went my my dreams of becoming the next kate moss (who funny enough was the practically the only successful 'short' model at 5'8 1/2). ;)

Yeah, I wondered at my height [5'7"-ish], but I realized that I was wearing heels. A friend of mine does runway and print, and she's only 5'10" IIRC. In any case, he seemed fairly legit so I'm going to call the agency as soon as my life calms down.

And thank you!

That is seriously one of the COOLEST icons I have ever seen. I mean, not only is it awesome artistically, but it is COOL. I'm loving that icon. I think I'll stare at it for a little while longer.

Ok. I guess I'm done now. Now I will comment.

- You don't like Ghost of a Shark? ::babbles:: But...but...it's Ghost of a Shark! It's the song, yo! This confuses me.

I hop into the hot tub and soak for a half an hour. Then I get out, change into a strappy tank and boxer shorts and walk around like that until I become cold again.

Apart from that Ghost of a Shark thing, I am now completely convinced that we are the same person. I can't actually go in the hot tub right now, because I'm too lazy to clean it, but I do that all the time when I take a shower or bath. And would do it with the hot tub if it was clean.

No new AtS until January. This, I believe, is worse than last year's gigantic gap between Apocalypse, Nowish [or, if you're the WB -- Rain of Fire] and Habeus Corpses.Holy crap. That's like, FOR-EH-VERRRRRR. ::whimper:: ( ... )

Thanks! I was trying to experiment with slanty text, and I like the way it turned out.

Ghost of a Shark just reminds me of the sappy ballads they would play at middle school dances that my friends and I would mock. The lyrics are wonderful, but it just lacks the potency of the rest of Tom's repetoire.

And why do YOU have to clean the hot tub? Dadmac does that kind of stuff. I just lurves my hot tub, especially this time of year. Mr. Sexy told me we all have to chill in my tub in December, which is just squee!!

Apocalypse, Nowish was re-named because the WB thought it infringed on Apocalypse, Now's copyrights? Or something. One of the writers explained it last year on Succubus Club Radio. I've been told that the next new ep will be Jan 7 or 14. So. Long wait for LINDSEY! AHHH!

Have you seen Identity? I really liked it, and like you said, he's CREEPY!

Look in the underground store, you might find the Tom. Or go into Ashland, I think "To CD or not to CD" or one of the other little shops might have him.

And why do YOU have to clean the hot tub?

Well, because I'm the only one that really wants to use the hot tub. Although I'm not really sure why. My family is weird. *g*

Mr. Sexy told me we all have to chill in my tub in December, which is just squee!!

Eeee! I love when that happens! You better report on how that goes. ;)

Have you seen Identity?

I have, I just saw it a couple weeks ago. DEFINITELY creepy!

Or go into Ashland, I think "To CD or not to CD"

It's funny how you thought of that and I didn't. Hee. I will definitely go there...when I get someone to drive me. I hate driving in downtown Ashland, I'm always afraid I'm going to hit a pedestrian.

Oh, come on. I'm sure there are enough cold days up where you live. Your family must want to tub. Mmm, warm.

And re: Ashland and pedestrians? I've never driven downtown, but I know what you mean. Many pedestrians. MANY pedestrians.

I'm kidding.

*G*

But hey, congrats on the Tom finds. Incidentally, that karaoke soul single is the one I got for free at his shows, and we'll be giving them away on tomination.org, sometime in a blue moon....*plots*.

Now...tell me. Isn't precious cargo...ALL KINDS OF KICK ASS? I swear, I really do love that song.

Yes, but I AM an infidel. I hate not liking one of his songs.

I love the single to death. Watching all the footage, eeeh.

And I listened to Precious Cargo on repeat as the plane was landing, it was yummy. I just ADORE that song.

You give me much to respond to. noshootingstars November 25 2003, 17:14:44 UTC
I was beginning to think no store in the U.S. sold Just Like Blood. When I wanted to buy it, no store in my area had it and Amazon.com was out of stock too. I finally got it through Amazon.co.uk. Must just be my luck.

Is it so terribly wrong that I really don't like the song Ghost of A Shark? It just reminds me of one of those sappy ballads. Or something. Can't really describe it.

LYNCH MOB! ;)

That cap of Buffy is hilarious. Almost....porny?

No new AtS until January. This, I believe, is worse than last year's gigantic gap between Apocalypse, Nowish [or, if you're the WB -- Rain of Fire] and Habeus Corpses. But then again, at least there isn't a gigantic cliffhanger.

*pulls out impression of Luke* NOOOOOOOOO! It can't be. That's impossible.

At least they left us with a better view this year. Instead of the horrifying image of Connor on Cordy we got nekkid Lindsey.

You have great taste in magazines.

And (finally) your review of Alias cracks me up. I imagine you saying "Sark?" is a very dejected tone of voice.

You MUST buy the self-titled CD too! I just adore Untitled, which inspired this icon, and well, just about every other track.

Yes, I should be rightfully lynched.

The shot is almost porny.

I'm sure you know by now, the next ep will air on Jan 7 or 14. And were you channeling S1 BtVS Luke? Or Luke Skywalker? Or some other Luke?

The nekkid Lindsey calls to me...what will happen next? I must know.

Entertainment Weekly is my bible.

And the "Sark?" was very dejected. Here's hoping tonight's episode is full of him!
