It looks like right near Marc's place, there's a patisserie / teahouse called Patisserie de la Gare.

Never been there, but it looks tasty. Once we're both better, I think a field trip is in order.

Whoa, he must be living pretty close to mum's! Used to go there everyday during high school and when we moved around the corner... they used to have very good coffee, I haven't been in yet since touching down last week...

We haven't eaten there but have bought cakes there, so I can only speak for dessert. A little expensive, but very nice stuff. Good for the tastebuds, bad for the waistline. Lesser selection than Sel & poivre downtown.

Fair enough. Better location than downtown, though, if we just feel like going for coffee or something. I'll check out the prices when we go.
