Batman vs. Superman!

The reason I love making comics from Cyc´s stories is, that her scenes are so accurately composed and vivid, all that´s left for me to do is bring the picture in my head to the piece of paper before me ( Read more... )

Heh, I do like that first one with Batman looking as if he's going to fall off the roof! :)

I like the Superman reflection.

That last sketch is very evocative. We've got Bruce in some sort of funk (situation normal) and Clark very tentative in touching him.

Lovely stuff! And I like Batman's drop! ;)

P.S. I don't consider the second illo boring. The third one has more movement but the second one shows Batman's fluid grace and Superman looks suitably impressed. :)

Maybe boring was the wrong word. But I think the last version of the panel tells more of a story: the danger of the small perch, the effort of climbing up and hanging on to the top of the triangle and the surprise of seeing a flying man -- whereas the second one strikes me a bit as the standard "Batman standing on a roof" type of thing. You are right about the fluid grace though and I was a bit sad about losing all but Superman´s cape in this panel. He does get to solo in all his glory in the next one though. :D
