Sick at heart;
I want to run away.

If I turned off my phone for a day;

Though I am told I am free,
In my parents house,
I do not feel it,
not as my siblings seem to.

It is true, that once
they dictated my every breath,
and felt they were in the right doing so,
didn't even feel as if what they were doing,
was oppressive and suffocating.

that the threat of violence

and no one knows what "okay" is till the world shatters around you and your not "okay" anymore.
okay is under appreciated.
I am also guilty of this.

and who would have thought,
through fire and destruction,
the truth will set you free.

so daddy found out that his little girl
was not as pure and innocent as he thought she was,
and furthermore most of it happened under his roof.

the age old maxim my therapist
seems to live by,
seems to guide me towards,
that; "the truth will set you free."

no i don't think i agree.
the truth has a terrible power
and the truth will destroy you.

"Forgive me please (insert excuse blaming everything but your self and the truth) for even god forgives those that beg forgiveness."
(Because selfish that you are; you cannot live with your guilty conscience).

"Then I am not god and I have not his infinite capacity for mercy and compassion and I cannot find it in myself to forgive you now."
