I'm working on a few comic pages for the TCM Underground website.

That's awesome. I look forward to seeing them. I don't watch every movie that they show on TCM Underground, but they have some great ones coming up over the next couple months (Shack Out on 101, Massacre at Central High).

Also, having watched Hausu, I can tell you that the clips on YouTube don't even begin to exhaust the craziness in that movie.

Hey Mr. Dorkin, speaking of foreign horror flicks, have you seen "The Orphanage"?

Haven't heard of it. I haven't seen anything in the past year except the first Death Note movie and a few old 80's piece of crap flicks at the Lawgiver's place. Our movie watching has been pretty much nil the past few years. Actually, last night I watched a movie for the TCM gig. It was lousy.

And please, you can call me by my first name.

You should check out "The Orphanage" one of these days. It's a Spanish horror/mystery flick from 2005 with a GREAT story.

Just adding another positive vote for "Let the Right One in." Saw it and then insisted a bunch of friends see it with me again. Not the height of perfection (the only moment of CGI is complained about by just about everyone) but very good child actors (which I normally hate) and a nice slow story with violence and gore sparingly but well applied.
