I disagree with number 2 - there's also incidents of cosplay that result in severe trauma (Belatrix as the Irony fairy *shudder*)

Secrets are the lifeblood of Dumbledore. If he's not keeping at least a dozen, he withers from the inside, becomes a shadowy shell of his former self, and takes to wandering the halls of Hogwarts begging students to come to his office and tell him who their secret, secret crush is.

awe, I love it when you talk to the reader! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like I'm part of your own little special (and I am putting the emphasis on 'special', there...~_^) world! I like it. And Lucius is freakin'...freakin' cool.

Besides, you always need those little moments of realization, dont't you? That although this person may be going off and ransacking villages, cursing innocent people and killing off those who he bids unworthy...he still likes a little bundt cake every now and again.

(yes, the bundt cake reference was from the avatar by alory, but it was the only thing I could think of.)

Bundt cakes make even the scariet dark lord a little more understandable to the average reader. Because that's totally what I'm attempting to accomplish. Nope, not mocking the incompetent evil guy at all.
