Of bows, parties and birthdays

So. On Friday I started a course in longbow making. This continued throughout the weekend and I finished yesterday afternoon with a 6ft triple laminate longbow with a draw weight of approximately 56lbs. That's a heavy draw, I can only just manage a full draw with it, but I can at least draw my own bow. :) azekeil has made two fairly in depth posts about
