Tom was surprised muchly, Tara hit people with her dong and kept her phone in her toaster, I got a minor burn on the arm, and pretty much everyone got nicely inebriated. I even drank a drink that cyb0rfox gave me (I don't have any memory gaps, and I'm not sore anywhere, so it must have been ok). Saturday was J's nirthday, so we had a family trip to West Midlands Safari Park. It was fascinating seeing the animals, especially the wolves, they've always been my favourite. :) I did take my camera, but I was designated driver around the safari section and it's bloody difficult to drive and take photos, but I got a few ok ones.

So. On Friday I started a course in longbow making. This continued throughout the weekend and I finished yesterday afternoon with a 6ft triple laminate longbow with a draw weight of approximately 56lbs. That's a heavy draw, I can only just manage a full draw with it, but I can at least draw my own bow. :) azekeil has made two fairly in depth posts about ( Read more... )

It occured to me last night, that it is only just over a month to my birthday. Obviously I would like to do something with a bunch of friends. Anyone have any suggestions? So far I've had the "sexy party" suggestion from ninjagirl, which is of course always an option, but how many of you could make it at this notice? Just been reminded elsewhere; as we have kids in the family (specifically J) who can't stay away from home, and there's no chance of babysitting...

We will again be having a New Year party in Cheltenham. We'd love to see as many of you as can make it, it was fun last year! :D
