Craig and I went and saw "The Lady in the Van" today. It's the (mostly) true story about the woman who lived in Alan Bennett's driveway for fifteen years. Maggie Smith was absolutely wonderful in it, and we both really enjoyed it, though Craig has been an Alan Bennett fan for years. We walked out of the theater with intentions to go do some

My cars have been mostly Ford and Dodge (with a Chevy Malibu thrown in.) I now drive my Dad's car (a 2008 ford focus) and I'm happy with it. The car before this was the Malibu and it was 18 years old (and still going strong) when I got the Focus.

I had a 1975 Mustang, a beautiful car but in 1975, Ford cars weren't the best. Thank goodness they have improved since the '70s.

Dave is a wide guy, and he's driving an F-150 now. Re: sedans, he's most been comfortable in a Chrysler 300, and in the Lincoln/Mercury Town Car versions before they were fully discontinued.

Whenever we've needed a rental car, it's comical to see him trying different models on the lot. With so many cars, he can't shut the door unless he's leaning into the passenger seat.

Ugh I'm so not looking forward to buying a car - I'm planning to start looking in October/Novemberish of this year, but man I am dreading it. Partly because I've managed to never have a car payment before - and sadly there's no way around it this time unless I buy a beater with only what I've saved up for the downpayment. At least my credit is decent enough that my interest rate shouldn't be a problem.

Also sweet jeebus that episode! I agree - not enough Billy, but man what a fantastic fascinating episode. So freaking incredible!
