Throwing away the pick...well, for a little while

So today's guitar lesson went well. I immediately copped to still not being comfortable with barre chords, so Scott let me off the hook and said just keep practicing them. Instead, he decided to launch into fingerpicking and taught me the Travis pick pattern. That's actually proving really easy, thank goodness. Plus he taught me two more scales

I got treated to my sister's guitar recital piece over Christmas. Just a couple years ago, she was doing very basic songs, and now she's doing classical pieces with all the fingering, so you have lots to look forward to.
