Between work and family I've been consumed with Zelda Spirit Tracks....seriously, someone needs to pry this game out of my hands.

Finally someone else from my flist is playing Zelda Spirit Tracks. I am stuck now. I cannot use the whip to grab a bird.

Oooh which part are you at? I did all the four temples, parts of the Spirit Tower, but it seems there is a ton more to do afterwards.
And you need to play the song of birds to lure them down before you catch them with your whip.

I am still in the ocean temple. I did play the song of birds, but I couldn't grab any bird. I aimed at the thingy the bird was carrying, but I couldn't do it. I always fell into the water.

Oh you need to keep holding the whip. Don't move the stylus away from the bar the bird is carrying.

I think it's a Ms Doyle, but either way its completely and utterly ridiculous, and think this stems from a joke RDJ told on a late night show. Jeez.

This more or less ensures that I won't be watching the sequel as it's probably going to be painful in its earnest attempt to be 100% heterosexual.

...I haven't seen the film yet, but it's my understanding that it's not exactly to the letter [/understatement of the year]. Wtf? Also, in my experience people only begin sentences with phrases like"I am not hostile to homosexuals" when they're about to say something that is.

The film is very slashy, frankly its the best part of the movie, since the plot is somehow overstuffed and yet a bit dull.
